Do I pay for the groceries?

Yes. You control the cost of your groceries through your menu selection.

Do I pay you ahead of each cooking date?

You can pay via credit card prior to the cooking date or on the cooking date.

Do I need to be home when you come?

No, you don’t have to be home. It’s totally up to you.

If you will not be home while I’m cooking we will just need to discuss a way for me to access the house.

Do you freeze all meals?

No. Our goal is to provide you with fresh meals that you do not have to freeze. However, if you know that you’re not going to eat all of the meals within 4 or 5 days, then we would suggest freezing foods to be enjoyed at a later time. If the average meal package is consumed within 5 days, no freezing is required.

How long will you be there?

I’ll be cooking several different entrees and side dishes from scratch, so it will take somewhere between 4-6 hrs. I am most willing to work with your schedule. We can make arrangements in advance so that my cooking date is compatible with your schedule.

What is the difference between a Personal Chef and a Private Chef?

A Private Chef is employed by one individual or family full time, and is often “living in”, preparing up to 3 meals a day.

A personal chef serves several clients and provides multiple meals that are custom designed for the client’s preferences or dietary needs. The personal chef does the planning, the shopping, the cooking, and the clean up. Meals are packaged and stored so that the client may enjoy them at their leisure.

Do you cook in my kitchen?

No, we prepare your meals in the safety of a commercial kitchen. We use the freshest ingredients for your meals, provide packaging as well as storage and reheating instructions.
