Prime Picking

It is critical to select the right fruits & vegetables. Below are a few tips on picking the prime produce (say that 10 times fast!)

  • Choose sound, firm, and ripe fresh foods
  • Look for good shape, texture, and color
  • NO moldy, over-mature, or bruised foods
  • Best practice – Can or preserve immediately after harvesting or purchasing
