During the month of December, 2014, and in two separate events, Fresh From the Gardens officially launched our “Romantic Private Chef Experience.” Both events were absolutely amazing and were booked to celebrate two very special occasions. One was a complete surprise for a boyfriend’s birthday, and the other event was to celebrate the anniversary of being cancer free.

One couple chose to have a couples massage in the early afternoon prior to dinner, and both couples enjoyed the most romantic ambience and atmosphere they could have ever imagined possible in the comfort of their own homes. It was magical and everything flowed flawlessly. The fresh flowers and the beautiful table setting were first class.

The music really set the tone for a romantic evening and we only book the best musical talent.

Our clients enjoyed music from Kelli Douglas (aka my niece) from this season 7 of “The Voice.”  Kelli was accompanied by professional guitarist, K. Cooks. I also booked the very talented Caleb McCampbell, pianist and vocalist, who beautifully serenaded and sung one of my favorite songs by John Legend, “All of Me.”

The comments about the food were spectacular. I selected the best duck for the Southwest Tomatillo Duck Triangle appetizers, the best quail for the Jalapeno Quail appetizers, the freshest tuna for the tuna tartare, the best filet mignon for the Filet Mignon with Cabernet Cremini Sauce and of course the best chocolate for the chocolate soufflés.

One couple even requested to come into the kitchen after their appetizers were served, to see a demonstration of me making the chocolate soufflé they were having for their dessert. My client and her boyfriend saw a chocolate soufflé demonstration while they were on vacation and she knew this would be something special for him.
